About Lisa
Lisa has loved romance for as long as she can remember. She grew up watching Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty on repeat. In high school she and her best friend volunteered to become library assistant’s, scouring the shelves for werewolves and vampires in their spare time.
Lisa loves romance so much she named her first born child Juliet. She spent the last ten years homeschooling her children and as they become more independent she is finding herself spending less time reading text books and more time falling back in love with the romance novel.
Lisa is especially fond of Romantasy and Dark Romance. Some of her favorite authors are Liv Zander, Leigh Rivers, Raven Kennedy and Demi Winters.
Lisa lives with her very own male main character who happens to be a mustachioed firefighter and her high school sweetheart. They have two daughters who love reading, musical theater, and helping Mom with her book store vision. They live in Rocklin with two dogs & two cats.
About Lover Girl
In 2026 Lisa visited a local book store and asked to be pointed in the direction of the romance section. When she was told “we don’t have one” she knew she wanted to bring some spice to Placer County with it’s very own traveling romance shop.
Our goal is to provide a variety of romance novels in all sorts of subgenres. Do you love meeting fated mates? Or, do you swoon over stories of small town lovers given a second chance at romance? Sweet or Spicy? Full of magic or a vactaion read to make you kick your feet in the sand? We’ve got you covered. We love to feature independent authors and special edition books that will compliment your bookshelves.
